教师简介

Dr. Ghaffar Ali, Associate Professor and doctoral supervisor at the College of Management, SZU, China. Dr. Ghaffar Ali is ranked among Top-2 % researchers of the world consecutively (for two years), a ranking by Stanford University, USA in 2020 and Elsevier B.V. – Stanford University, USA in 2021. He is also serving as an Editor of four international Journals (JCR Q1 & Q2). Earlier, he has served various international institutions including the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), and United Nations - Thailand; the Chinese Academy of Sciences, China; University of Agriculture Faisalabad, Pakistan; and Mahidol University, Thailand. He has completed his postdoc from Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand (among top-100 university subject-wise 2022 raking). He is an experienced researcher with more than 10 years of experience in research and teaching. Furthermore, Dr. Ali is among 1% Top peer reviewers of the world as published by Web of Science (Publons). Till date, Dr. Ali has published over 60 research papers in leading journals, conferences, book, book chapters, and working paper(s). He has almost 30 international academic awards including from ScienceDirect, Web of Science, Government of Pakistan, China, Thailand, and USA. His excellent work consists of more than 2000 citations, 24 h-index, and 30 i10-index. One of his outstanding achievements is that his research findings were cited by researchers of Harvard University, and MIT, the USA in 2019

Research Interests: I am open to recruit Ph.D. and postdoc scholars with research background on applied economics; energy economics/policy; urban/environmental economics; climate change financing; and food economics etc.
